Creative first. Always.
The story.
I never planned to become a designer.
I wanted to be an illustrator.
Turns out I never had to choose.
I never planned to become a designer.
I wanted to be an illustrator.
Turns out I never had to choose.
From there, I built a career one opportunity at a time—mostly by saying yes before I felt ready.
Along the way, I discovered I was less interested in any one medium and more interested in understanding how things work—and where they break. As challenges get bigger and messier, I become more curious.
That curiosity has taken me from game launches and fan experiences to brand systems. No matter the industry, I’ve always tried to see the work from both sides: as the person making it and as the person experiencing it.
I’ve led creative teams, built design systems, launched campaigns, shaped products, and helped organizations make complicated things feel a little clearer, a little more useful, and a little more human.
Today, my work spans brand, product, and creative direction, drawing from a career that was never linear—and I don’t think it was ever meant to be. Some days I’m building component libraries in Figma. Other days I’m prototyping ideas, experimenting in Blender, illustrating, or chasing light with whichever of my three cameras I’m currently obsessed with.
I use AI tools for research, exploration, and prototyping, but I still believe the best work comes from people—our curiosity, judgment, and willingness to keep learning.
I care about good craft, clear thinking, thoughtful collaboration, and leaving things better than I found them.
(P.S. I still like em dashes—and I will use them forever.)
