As the Creative Director for the Los Angeles Guerrillas during the 2021 season, I managed both the creative direction and hands-on design work for everything from regulation matches, including stages and majors, to consumer products.
My focus was on art and creative direction, developing the brand guide, and leading the design efforts.
I drew inspiration from street art and graffiti, incorporating the idea of “turf wars” and the rebellious act of “slapping” stickers—common in vandalism—to play off the Guerrillas’ name. This approach gave the team’s visuals a raw, edgy vibe that made a strong statement.
