Context
I led a visual refresh for CBS Sports editorial graphics, aiming to better align them with CBS Sports HQ shows and create clearer identity across content on CBSSports.com.
Problem
Editorial visuals felt generic and disconnected from the programming they supported. Each sport needed its own recognizable style while still fitting within the CBS Sports ecosystem.
Process
I developed distinct visual treatments per sport—using neon intensity for the NFL, a ripped-paper aesthetic for college basketball, and other sport-specific motifs. These styles created stronger emotion and clearer differentiation across editorial stories and social extensions.
Impact
The refreshed editorial visuals increased consistency across platforms and helped content feel more dynamic, intentional, and tied to the shows fans were already watching.
